StandUP! For Change is a social transformation organization endeavoring to bring awareness to the inequities taking place in marginalized communities; primarily in the areas of edification, education, and housing. Our efforts target Cleveland, Ohio where over 50% of all children live in poverty.

StandUP! For Change seeks to awaken society to the needs, promise, and values of under-served families; specifically those who are chronically impoverished, homeless, and reestablished in community. Encouraging a society that understands and accepts responsibility in meeting the needs of our citizens regardless of race, gender, or economic status.

StandUP! For Change began as a small neighborhood improvement group filled with residents dissatisfied with the state of communities throughout the City of Cleveland. Focused on making a difference, the resolute residents focused on providing for the direct needs of their fellow community members; devoting their endeavors toward the homeless and chronically impoverished neighborhoods.

As volunteers continuously addressed the immediate needs of the marginalized, the ever-increasing call resounded. This realization acted as an impetus to formally establish StandUP! For Change as a non-profit organization in 2012 and receive tax-exempt status from the IRS in 2013.

We strive toward ending the cycle of poverty by creating productive families dedicated to building strong lives and rebuilding even stronger communities.
